Tour Description:
Please arrive at the meeting point no later than 10 minutes before the tour departure time. You will then board a comfortable car or minivan to begin your unforgettable journey to Charyn Canyon. Before the tour, we provide 1.5L of bottled water and snacks, including an individually wrapped sandwich, fruit, and chocolate, to enjoy during the journey. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, tea, or coffee in a container with a lid.
It will take approximately 3 hours to reach the canyon. During the journey, your guide will share interesting facts about the history and nature of the region, as well as insights into the Kazakh people, their lifestyle, and traditions. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop in a village and experience the atmosphere of a local market.
Upon arrival at Charyn Canyon, you will admire the grand panorama and descend the stairs to the bottom of the canyon. You will then walk approximately 2 km through the maze of the Castles Valley, with its uniquely shaped rock formations towering above you.
The canyon floor has a gentle slope leading to the end of the trail, where you will reach a refreshing oasis on the banks of the icy-cold Charyn River. There is also an eco-park with several yurts (traditional dwellings) and a small open-air café, which operates during the summer.
After some rest, you will walk back along the same path to the stairs, followed by a car transfer to one of the observation points for another breathtaking panoramic view. After spending approximately 3 hours in the canyon, you will return to Almaty. The estimated arrival time at the original meeting point is between 18:00 and 19:00.

The tour rate includes round-trip transportation from the meeting point, 1.5L of bottled water, a snack, and environmental fees.

Tour Reservation: Reservations should be made at least 48 hours in advance and require a 50% advance payment of the total tour price.
Payment: The tour price must be paid no later than 24 hours before the tour. Accepted payment methods include cash, wire transfer, and bank card.
50% of the total tour price is non-refundable if the tour is canceled less than 24 hours before the start time.
100% of the total tour price is non-refundable if the tour is canceled less than 12 hours before the start time or if participants fail to arrive at the appointed time.
